However, I will include TWO fresh LR-44 batteries (Exp 2023). When you insert a fresh battery in these - OMG - you get a bright and clear jumbo display with all the contrast you could ever hope for. All you need to do is unscrew the back of the stopwatch with a small Phillips screwdriver (I actually used a small slot-head one) and slide in a new battery in place of the old.<br>--><br>
